About Me
A Brief History...
Hey all! Like you might have already read, my name is Sean Plank. I am a youth and family ministries major at Kentucky Christian University, and plan to graduate in 2010. I'm originally from Morehead, Kentucky.
I came to know Jesus Christ on May 5, 1997. My mother had given me a comic book that followed the story of a man interacting with a preacher, and the man had a vision of hell. After reading that small pocket-size comic book, I realized that (at the young age of 10 years), I didn't want to spend eternity in hell. Therefore, I repented of my sins on my bedroom floor that night. The following Sunday, I was baptized by the late Martin Thomas, a man I will respect as long as I live. I continued to walk with Christ all the way through to the summer of 2002, at which I was accepted my call into ministry. Ever since then, I've worked in churches and held various leadership positions in churches. In everything I do, though, I must give glory to Christ. "Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31).
Influences
Many people have influenced me, my ministry, and my look on life. But, most of all, Jesus Christ is the one who affects me everyday--affects me to be just like Him. But, as a tribute of some sort, I want to list the people, publicly and privately that have influenced me.
PUBLIC FIGURES
Billy Graham, Mac Powell (lead singer of Third Day), Jeremy Camp, Ron Luce, C.S. Lewis.
PERSONAL FIGURES (There are many people I can list here, but I am going to only name a few)
My parents, Don Evans, Caleb Evans, Eddie Carter, Ryan Hunt, Jeff Fannin, Wade Muncie, Rob and Marsha Lacey, Peter Hall, Nancy Hall, Connie Hughes, and Cameron Watford.
